Shannon & Justin: Married! Dinosaurs at the Museum of Science Wedding

#thatdress! For real though – that dress.  Getting to know Shannon & Justin at their Somerville MA Engagement Session was a ton of fun.  Getting their pre-wedding worksheet where they three words they used to describe their Museum of Science wedding were “Dinner, Dancing & Dinosaurs” had me completely giddy with excitement.

Being featured on the Museum of Science’s Instagram? #bucketlist

It’s always fun when the T. Rex joins in on the fun of an event at the Museum! Photo ? @melissakoren

The whole wedding was one of the best times ever.  All their love of science and each other was seamlessly merged together for an affair to remember.  Make sure you look through all the images and catch all the details big and small (from element table names to dancing dinosaurs!)

  • How did you meet? At work, the same department of the same company. To this day, we still work together, 50 feet apart.
  • What are you most excited about leading up to the wedding day? Locking down vendors in a timely manner (mostly because Shannon is an organizational nerd, and when she’s happy, we’re both happy)
  • What are you most excited about ON your wedding day? Having a great party with our friends and family
  • What are your favorite beverages? Her: Champagne, Him: Sake
  • What are your favorite foods? Her: Veggie sushi, Him: Mexican
  • Tell me one random fact about each of you. (Please?!) Him: I do Broga (yoga for bros, obviously lol) Her: I used to spin fire (I really hoped this would happen at the wedding..)
  • Is there anything else I should know?! The time we both love to listen to country music is when we’re in the car on long trips. We don’t listen to it otherwise.
  • How did you learn about Melissa Koren Photography? OffBeat Bride (I’ve never been so happy I decided to advertise on there!!)
And in conclusion – the obligatory SEO. NH and Boston, MA Museum of Science Wedding photographer, Melissa Koren Photography, photographs good people. Wonderful, loving, quirky, sassy, laughing, fantastic, and often cheeky people like you! You are good people! There are adventures to have and memories to keep so let’s get to it!
