I’ve made many a journey in this photographer adventure I’ve been on for the past 11 years.  I’ve traveled to California, New Mexico, New Jersey, Florida, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont, Connecticut.. and those are just for weddings and sessions! But these Hilton Park Dover NH Family Photos helped me stop and take the time to do something I’ve wanted to for over 20 years- visit Hilton Park in super close to home Dover, New Hampshire.  I lived in Dover for years. I’ve traveled over the bridge every day to Portsmouth. I still head off that way many a day for this that or the other thing.  And I’ve always seen the boats, and the green, and the sign for the park and wanted to check it out. But I never took the time. 

Until now!  When this family contacted me to say they were all getting together to visit grandma in Dover, it was the perfect time to finally visit this little piece of sunshine under the bridge!  (You can see some under the bridge shots in my summer highlights section at my Instagram)

It was everything I could have hoped for and more! With the added bonus of being able to go under the bridge – which is one of my weird obsessions, who knows why! And the family!? What a blast! 

I’ve heard that grandchildren keep you young (and I’m not interested in finding that out yet) but judging from this glowing, radiant, young at heart and just plain stunning grandmother, who didn’t think twice about getting down on the ground and having 3 grandkids climb up on top of her, it’s got to be true!
