Everything about this Intimate NH, Rye St Andrews by the Sea Wedding & Photograph session was perfection, but I have to tell you, I came away with a shoe envy I didn’t know was possible.

I’ve had the most fun getting to know Nicole & John over the past year – they flew in from Australia for to make some wedding plans last summer, booked me one day over a glass of wine and then we shot their Prescott Park Summer Engagement session the next!

Off they went back to Australia. They came back in the winter to further their details and wanted to have some fun in the snow.  Funnily enough, when she called to talk about the session, there was no snow anywhere to be seen or even in the forecast, but somehow Mother Nature knew that this was an extra special need and low and behold, a fresh coat of snow arrived just in time for their Exeter NH Winter Engagement Session!

Mother Nature provided even more love for their wedding day! It was cool and fall-like on the day they said I Do.

I love that they celebrated their wedding with their kids.  All five of them! Nicole getting ready with her two kids in the hotel was one of my favorite parts of the day.  They were so invested in her looking beautiful (an easy task, obviously) and making sure she had everything ready to go.  And then they both walked her down the aisle *sniff*.  John’s kids were equally as involved, with his daughters as bridesmaids and his son as his best man! It was a family affair! (And a gorgeous family at that!) – After the intimate ceremony and family photos, Nicole and John were whisked away in my MKP mobile while the rest of the guests took the trolley back to town.  The three of us explored Pierce Island and Prescott Park before I delivered them to their guests at their Massimo reception!

Oh, and the shoes – like – I didn’t know that I could covet something so not my norm.  I’m not a sucker for glitter, or pink, or even designer shoes.  But damn did I ever go all Carrie Bradshaw for Nicole’s pink glitter Jimmy Choos!
