NH At Home Newborn Photographer

I don’t have a big house. I can’t have newborn photos taken at home. WRONG!

NH At-Home Newborn Photography – Monte’s Cozy Debut

Meet Monte! He was an excellent assistant with some behind-the-scenes work during our shoot. (10/10 newborn model. Highly recommend.)

When his parents reached out looking for a NH at-home newborn photographer, they were worried their home might be too small and too dark. “Don’t you need tons of space and perfect light for good photos?” they asked.

Nope. You absolutely do not.

I’ve photographed babies in the most Pinterest-worthy nurseries and in the tiniest city apartments. The common thread? They’re home. And that’s what matters. Whether your space is minimalist, maximalist, or somewhere in between, it’s already perfect for this moment in your story.

And for the record, you do not need a spotless house to have beautiful photos. (My kid is grown up and moved out, and I still haven’t cracked the code on a consistently spotless house.)

Here’s how it works: I’ll arrive and scout out at least one ideal spot—a cozy corner with good window light is more than enough. I’ve got a few tricks, a whole lot of patience, and the experience to capture sweet, snuggly photos of your new little one right where you are.

Siblings are always welcome, and parents, you should get in there, too. I promise you, when your kids are grown and starting families of their own, they’ll love having these photos of where it all began.

PS: Monte means “mountains”—and yes, they had the perfect mountain-themed blanket for him. Meant to be.

At-home newborn sessions are one of my favorite ways to photograph new life. There’s something so special about being in your own space, where you’re comfortable and everything feels real. Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth, I’ll meet you right where you are—messy, magical, and everything in between.
