Shannon & Justin invited me down to their home and we had a wonderful summer evening walk for their Somerville Engagement Session. I had no idea the city had such a thriving arts community and walking trail.

The sun was getting lower and lower as we headed down the path to our destination – we found a few nooks and crannies where the light was extra right.
Oh green. How I miss you!
There’s just something I love so much about needing to be on tiptoes to give a hug or a kiss. Like you’re surrendering yourself just a little bit more. Trusting them with your balance.
We were almost to “the spot” and through this broken down fence I spied a loading dock. Ever trusting, they followed me.
And it was so worth it.
Can we talk about these red jelly shoes for a minute?! It couldn’t have been more spectacular. (Also bonus points for the pattern repeating in the loading dock doors) 😉
We made it to the spot! This very spot! Where Justin asked Shannon to marry him and presented her with this custom rose gold ring.
We spent a few minutes snuggling and reminiscing –
Then caught a ride back to their street where Justin procured these hats and we had our own cover album session.
That in all honesty, I’m completely enamored with!
They got married at the Museum of Science. Just wait. Three words. Dinner, Dancing & Dinosaurs!
