“Melissa is, in a word, a rockstar. She’s cool, calm and collected on top of being super organized, professional and most importantly, uber-talented. And she is so much more than a photographer – on our wedding day, she helped me with my dress, finagled the necklace I was wearing so that it hung just the way I wanted to, and knew to get all of the formal shots with our 4 year old flower girl, who was slowly getting impatient, done first. She even at one point had my veil on so that it wouldn’t have to be on the ground when I took it off! We just received our pictures and we are in love with all of them. Her style is exactly what we were going for. I specifically did not want any “cheesy” wedding photos – forced and unnatural. Melissa’s style is very natural which I think makes for the best pictures. Plus we got all kinds of different shots – from formal to candid to black and white – it will be hard to choose which ones we want for our album.
