Sometimes you know your loved ones are near, even when they’ve left this world. There was something so familiar about the grandfather of these Ogunquit Maine Family Photos. Just sooo familiar.

He’s beloved. He and his wife have raised this glorious family. He’s silly and a little sassy.

And he hugged me goodbye in the most earnest, all-encompassing way.

As I bid adieu to this group at the end of the hour, I got in my car and immediately burst into tears.

I was quite certain he shared a piece of my grandfather’s love with me. Nearly three years to the date of his death, I was getting one more hug.

And it was wonderful.

This session brings me such joy to remember!
