I know, I know. Sometimes you just don’t want to talk about it, and, to be honest, sometimes the longer I do this, the older I feel. (And not just because I’m older, duh.) But the more blessed I feel, too. Time marches on, and I’m lucky enough to help you hold on to tiny moments of yours.
The other thing that happens, is I get more and more attached to my families. We build a history and watching their littles double in size in what feels like the blink of an eye makes me a little teary eyed!
This session at the Seacoast Science Center is a little different since this family is dear friends of ours and we’re lucky enough to see these kids on a regular basis. But I still get a little verklempt when I go back and revisit their earlier sessions! Miss Lyd’s NH newborn session, and then her beautiful nearly 3-year-old self helping me demonstrate how any house is a great house for NH newborn photos – and now, that new little one able to sit up on his own, and so tenderly cared for by his long-lashed big sister!
I’ll be over here crying into my wine. You enjoy.
