nh spring engagement session

Heidi & Brad: Engaged at Odiorne

Oh spring in NH. You never know what you’re going to get. And this NH Spring Engagement session was no exception.

When Heidi & Brad first inquired I asked:

What are your top priorities for your wedding? We just want to have a meaningful time to celebrate this step in our lives with our closest friends and family. We want good food, relaxed atmosphere, and to just have fun with everyone.

That right there? That’s what it’s all about. I knew my people had found me.

And when they were completely game to go and explore Odiorne State Park on a rather questionable weather day, I was even more sure we were a match.

After triple checking they were ok with the crazy fog that was eating the coastline, we met up and carried an umbrella with us all over the park, just in case.

We did decide to meet up half an hour sooner than planned, just in case.

We’d put the umbrella down here, walk over there, pick it back up, go to the next spot.

Walking about we covered a good portion of the park and found some really cool nooks and crannies.

I knew we were creating so many cool images and we were all in a place where we felt we were all set.

We walked back toward the cars, and hugged goodbye.

I sat down in the drivers seat and WHOSH. The skies opened up!

I’m quite sure that the umbrella kept the rain at bay, and if we’d decided to not trek around with it, we would not have had as much luck as we did!

Just a few more weeks til they say I DO – I can’t wait!
